mix them with whipped cream and icing sugar, whack in the freezer for a while and it's like a soft ice-cream.

Broken merangues, whipped cream and berries = Eton Mess

waffle berry pudding

waffles, berries, 3 eggs, white choc, 55g sugar, 1tbl plain flour, 500ml creme fraiche.

chop waffles into squares top with chopped white choc and berries put into over dish. Mix sugar and flour add creme fraiche and eggs. Pour over the waffle mixture. Bake gas mark 6 bout 20 minutes.

ENJOY

Whizz them up with some juice to make a smoothie. put them into jellies. Crumble. Few seconds in a micro to thaw them a bit and have with ice cream. DS eats frozen berries straight from the freezer like sweets. Or have them inside pancakes.

Put them on top of small meringue nests with some ice cream.

thanks everyone. went for eton mess. ish. the meringue was a bit too chewy (had a whipping the sugar in too quickly nightmare) but never mind. had fresh raspberries and strawberries and whizzed the frozen ones up to make a slightly lumpy coulis. it was really nice actually. and looked entirely planned [grinned]
