How long do you cook bulgar wheat for?

Depends on how you're cooking it. If you're boiling it, like rice, I find it takes about 10 - 15 minutes. The other way to do it is to cover it with boiling water and leave it to stand, which takes 20 - 25 minutes.

Don't worry about it wurlywurly. The bulgar wheat is long gone

Ended up simmering for about 15-20 mins with lots of spices and seasoning, and added sauteed onion and garlic. Used it to stuff cabbage.
