My friedn's 20 month old DD has had soya milk for the last 2 nights and it has sent her completely hyper. Apparently even at 11pm last night she was jumping on the bed and throwing herself kamikaze style at the pillows.
Has anyone had any experience of this with soya milk please? My own 22 month old dd drinks soya but has done for ages so I can't remember if there was any noticable change when we swapped.

TIA

My daughter is allergic to milk and has soya. She is hyper but I never notice it worse when she has the soya...

Soya milk is often sweetened, so perhaps she had a sugar rush?

thanks for the replies.
I wondered if it was the sugar content too shazronnie and had suggested she tried the unsweetened.

My DD will not have the unsweetened. After having sweetened for a few years she's used to the taste. But AFAIK it's sweetened with apple or grape juice.
