If i make a lasagne to freeze, do i cook it from frozen, or defrost first?
When freezing stews, mince (for mince and tatties) do i thicken them before freezing, or when coooking?

lasagne - defrost before re-heating

i always make up a stew and freeze whats left, leave to defrost and cook again adding whatever is needed to make it "right" again!

Frozen lasagne does better if left to defrost at room temp first, imo.

Ok, thank you. I often freeze my meat, which i buy weekly from butcher, but thought about doing some cooking for freezer - especially as mindees getting more demanding, it would be easier
