Can you cook with soya milk?

Having a dairy free (well, dramatically limited!) January in the hopes of improving asthma & losing weight.

Already given up on soya milk in coffee, can't bear the curdling. Can I use it in cooking or does it just not tolerate heat well?

fine in cooking whenever I've used it and don't really notice the difference in taste.

The only thing I found was that if you made yorkshire puds with it when they cooled they went rock hard and even if you reheated they were still rock hard.

But apart from that I've found it fine - no curdling or anything.
