I made pea and ham soup last Tuesday - will it still be fine to eat?

It smells and tastes fine but do you think it's a bit too old?

The ham is from our gammon joint at Christmas and the rest of it is still fine in the fridge.

I don't want to throw the soup away, it's my fav and I've loads of it left. But I don't want to give me and DD food poisoning either

What do you reckon?

I'm all for a bit of pea and ham soup myself and if it smells and looks fine then go for it!! As long as you heat it up properly it should be fine.

So a week old? I probably wouldn't eat it but its not going to kill you if it is past its best. Taste and see

can I ask how you made it? I'd love to make some.
