i can freeze a shepherds pie cant i?

i got the mince out of the freezer last night, but now dd1 is eating at inlaws and dd2 is ill so not eating. so no need to do a big shepherds pie. i can prepare it and freeze it for another day cant i?

I thought you couldn't refreeze the meat, or is it ok if you've cooked it ??

I think it's ok if you've cooked the meat. I have frozen shephards pie & similar meals after cooking them from defrosted mince, several times.
