how long would milk keep outside a fridge?

I found DD drinking out of a beaker which held her nightime milk. It means that the milk had been outside the fridge since 8pm and she drank it at 3am. Anyone know if the milk wouldve been ok to drink or is she likely to get food poisoning now.
