Can you freeze ham?

I've got some gammon left over from Christmas and try as I might, we are not getting through it fast enough. I wondered if I could a) freeze it whole, or b) use it in recipes and then freeze?
Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Many thanks

yes. We slice it up into portions and then freeze it like that.

Yep - we slice it up and freeze in portions for sandwiches etc.
