Pasta salads for kids lunchboxes. Any ideas?

In an attempt to get ds6 to eat more at lunchtime I thought I might try pasta salad. I doubt he would eat anything green without pressure from me! I could do ham and sweetcorn, with mayo or salad cream...(what else for sauce?), but am at a loss as to anything else. I hear cold pizza is also good, is it? Other suggestions welcome. Will put a bit of pasta in tommorrow but have just boiled some eggs so he has an egg mayo sarnie just in case.

My dd2 has pasta salad with cucumber, tomato, little cubes of cheese and a tiny bit of red pesto.

Also chopped green pepper, sweetcorn and veggie hotdog sausages - just a drop of olive oil to moisten this one.

I've never seen veggie hotdog sausages....how do they compare with the taste of meaty ones do you know? All sounds good too me but I dont think ds will be so keen. Might need to serve it at home a few times I think to test the water.

vege hotdog sausages you can get in teh freezer section- they taste exactly the same as the meat ones (to me anyway).

What about using a little passata and making a tomatoey pasta salad - peas, protein (sausage/cheese/cold chicken) and then maybe some extra veg like peppers?

Or ham, pineapple, tomato, sweetcorn and pasta?

Egg mayonaise and pasta - with a few things like sweetcorn thrown in?
