Hi gm, here's his latest column, which includes a veggie recipe for noodle salad

Here you go, gm. Does contain human fingers but otherwise looks fairly veggie and quite sensual to boot if you follow his advice to the letter.

THE CHIP BUTTY (from Real Food, p.39)

"If you are making chips at home for a chip butty, then all I can say is that you are a real hero. My need for this starch marathon is usually confined to when I have had too much to drink and not enough to eat. It is sod's law that not all pubs serving good beer also serve good food. No amount of cheese and onion crisps will soak up a whole evening's drink, which is where the butty comes into its own. Ideally you pick up the chips on the way home, spread an absurdly generous amount of butter on the bread, then pile on the chips. The crux of the matter is the tempaerature o0f the chips, which must still be hot enough to melt the butter. Salty, buttery fingers are an indescribably good feast when you are a bit pissed. Especially when they are someone else's."

I think Wickedwaterwitch once posted a nigel created spinach and mushroom korma on mumsnet, to lip smacking delight all round so it might be worth doing a searchette for that too.
