Am looking for pics of train cakes to give me inspiration for DS's birthday cake. Does anyone know any good links, or even have pics of their very own personal train cake triumphs?! Thanks.

Birdly this looks good and really simple.

Thanks for those ideas, folks. Have checked out BCLC's train cake, which looks great. Also liked the Thomas one, Sparkly - had thought of using a 'real' toy train (if that makes sense!) but wasn't sure how, so this has helped too.
Input much appreciated - our library only has 30-year-old sugarcraft-type books, so have been struggling for contemporary inspiration!

You could do a really long train with engine and carriages made from mini rolls and liquorice allsorts, you can make wheels, funnel etc from the sweets, it looks really impressive - but not a "big" cake, I suppose, so maybe not quite suitable?
