Just off to bed after a disappointing night in the kitchen.
I have not got a recipe for rice crispy treats (the toffee ones not the chocolate ones) and have tried using my (not inconsiderable) cooking knowledge to make my own version but despite using fresh rice crispies, it just keeps coming out all soggy. Does anybody out there have a recipe which prevents the snap crackle and pop from leaving the rice crispies before they are cooled?
