How long will homemade mincepies keep for?

Thought I might do a mass bake tonight or tomorrow but I wondered how long they will keep?

I don't know how long they keep but my Mum used to freeze hers then defrost some as and when she needed them!

Think they keep a good while if kept in a good tin. Never had the chance to find out though they don't normally last long enough!

I always freeze mine never taste any different for it.
