i have no ice cream containers, what can i freeze soup in?

if i double bag freezer bags will they be ok do you think?

make sure you cool teh soup first though - they go very wobbly if hot

My Dad does this with his soup.

In the absence of a funnel, put the soup in a plastic bag and cut the corner off.

but (bear with me) if i use one of the milk cartons (upended, with bottom cut off) as a funnel, and another as soup receptacle (sp?), surely job will be done?

This reminds me of a summer job I had at a guest house just after I left school - there was a lot of left over curry. Guest house owner decided to freeze it- 'just hold this plastic bag open, rusty' taking pot of curry off the Aga and beginning to pour.....

Ladle soup into pyrex jug and then pour into freezerbagged recepticle of choice...
