fecking week before christmas and no:

cheese
booja booja truffles
decent chutneys
xmas puddings

etc

had decided to do a riverford shop as far as possible not a tescos one but screw em, tbh. Does it not occur to them that people might want xmas puddings in the last delivery before xmas? ffs

Ours is a River Nene box too, we're in Bedfordshire. Always arrives at 2.07 on a Wed afternoon so will be totally thrown by "next week's" box arriving on Christmas Eve! Hope there are no stones or big caterpillars in it!

I've recently started getting River Neen (seem to be an offshoot of Rverford) and am pleased overall with them . The lack of variety is a bit boring nut we do eat up every single bit of the veg (I make the kids eat even what they hate) and it is delicios. The fruit was terrible though - it just didn't keep for aweek and was too expensive to thrw out. I did getr rotten veg the frst week, phoned up and they came round 10 mins later with a replacement and I iscovered that the farm that supplies us is round the corner so that means a lot to me. Sainsburys do a good range of local veg but not organic.

in the new year we might start having it fortnightly. it is expensive

just got my delivery today. All looks fine - none rotten and not too much earth!

Only gripe is the fruit and nut box is a bit disappointing for nearly 20 pounds.
