Out of date spices would you use?

Cinnamon (sp?) out of date October 2006 use it or not? Just been to Tesco and forgot to buy really don't fancy traipsing there again!

Good grief, I use spices that are decades old! Never come to any harm. What you find though is that the colour goes from them and then the flavour. But if the cinnamon is use by 2 months ago, it will be fine - positively fresh by my standards!

I never know how old my spices are as I refill the jars!

They won't make you ill - you probably won't even notice

yeas i would use it, its a dried spice its not gonna go off it may just lose a little of its flavour.
