help mince pie pastry

is it shortcrust? Anyways, I've made delias pastry but left it in the fridge (20 hours instead of 30 minutes!) will it still be okay?

yeah should be, i think it is to rest the pastry and also to let it firm up before rolling it that you chill it, also it makes it easier to roll.

the resting allows the liquid to soften and stretch the gluten molecules making it more stretchy and less likely to crack.

20 mins should be fine - if probs rolling it out put it back for a bit.
