Moving to France

Hi - I'm 24 weeks and we're moving to the France/Swiss borders a place called Annecy. I don't know a great deal of people - does anyone know of similar sites like mumsnet.com in France or Geneva?

Try this group which is moderated by a friend of mine and has some other expat mums based around that area, on the Swiss/French border. There are also a couple of MNetters around there iirc. We stayed near Annecy in the summer - nice area and very family friendly. hth

Shame you wont be able to make use of the mountains for winter sports this year though!

I love Annecy, tres jolie! And close for skiing in the winter Hope you have a good move, is it a permenent one?

Yes a permanent move, for the moment Its a very pretty place and great for kids. I spent this summer studying French so will be nice to have two summers not working...
