does anyone know how to make them? we are having a bingo night next week and i want to make some voddie jellys.

Oh I made this once, absolutely vile but brilliant at the same time. Made up the jelly with as little boiling water as possible till it melted and just topped up with vodka instead of cold water and let it set.

oh I made these years ago when I was a student - they are great fun. I just made up the jelly per instructions, but used vodka instead of cold water - worked fine.

You can get really good jelly flavours like coke, lime, orange - all stuff you have with vodka, or you could do rum and coke, gin and lime etc. Set them in little glasses so they look like drinks (well plastic cups in my student days.)

I got very very drunk one NYE on strawberry flavoured vodka jelly. We made a rabbit shaped one, the problem was that it just slides down, and you don't realise how much you had until your legs stop working

We just ate it with spoons

But yes, you do need to melt the jelly first. It doesn't set like water does, it is a bit 'looser' ... put it in shot glasses, then when ready, throw it down your neck

It's been a long time - I'd probably throw up at the sight of one now but many a happy Uni Friday night was spent with Vodka Jelly
