Do tomatoes, a pinch of chilli powder and some kidney beans with the mince, top it with nachos and grated cheese to make a chilli pie.

thank you so much.

think i will get nachos but scrap chili powder as its something we dont really use - but think the nachos will make it look more authentic and stand outish than other pupils

she likes cooking - something i am keen to encourage as my nan was a cook and i can't cook anything really. Plus teacher thinks she is wondercook pupil- always keen to promote teacher liking of my childrena s it doesn't happen to often

thank you

if you've got any plain chocolate around the house then fling some of that in to the hilli, that's a twist, isn't it? and authentically mehican.

colditz · 10/12/2006 23:30

I make chilli con carne for my 3 year old with the tiniest pinch of chilli, it's very mild and more flavoursome than hot. I m more an egg and chips girl than posh food, but a bit of chilli is nice.

too much is vile.
