If I have bought fresh pasta, can I freeze it, then defrost it and make a lasagne and then freeze the lasagne?

or not?

So will you be buying, freezing, cooking, freezing ??

I would have thought so, because you can treat meat that way, so surely pasta would be ok.

If so the answer is yes..............

Have you resolved Christmas Day ???

bought fresh pasta by mistake see. I normally make up a huge lasagne and freeze half. I didnt use all the pasta first time round and shoved it in the freezer (said it could be frozen) but am wondering if I can make another huge lasagne with it and freeze or will we have to eat it all

I don't liek frozen lasagne, I usually make it, eat it then have it again on the second day after. It does last a few days int he fridge.

Would probably be Ok if she made extra cheese sauce to stop the pasta drying out.

poppiesinalinewithtinsel · 07/12/2006 19:47

you don't eat it frozen kelly1978

My lasagne is fine after being defrosted

Is that all that will happen then, the pasta may be a bit dry? I won't poison us all??

extra sauce sounds like a good idea though.
