What can I do with chestnut puree?

I've been given three tubes of chestnut puree from France. There are no suggestions on the packaging as to how to use them, but the pictures suggest that the puree is used as some sort of energy fix???? Anyway, does anyone have any ideas for me? Otherwise I guess they'll just have to go into the tombola for some other parent to work out what to do with!

(No, obviously I wouldn't do that as it would be unfair....)

you lucky, lucky thing ! is it the Clement something or other stuff ? If it's sweetened chestnut puree then stick it in a dish with crushed meringue and vanilla ice cream and whipped cream and you have sublime Mont Blanc, quite one of my most favourite puddings...or spread it on bread or even better on a brioche...enjoy !!

Yes, it's Clement Faugier and is the vanilla flavour. I had no idea I could do something quite so YUMMY! I'll get going and make some meringues tomorrow....

Thank you Santacutie

Did you watch Nigella last night ? she made the Mont Blanc - yum yum yum, - I usually put vanilla ice cream in too !

Have it mixed in with plain yoghurt for breakfast.

We use it to make veggie 'sausage' rolls. V nice!
