the recipe for Mar's lemon cake says use a roasting tin

I have loads, all different sizes

I NEED MEASUREMENTS

It has to turn out well cos I am not making another one and the bake sale is tomorrow morning

I nto sure it matters too much, but she made it in my 12x8 and we got 12 pieces out of it.

I make it in muffin cases, easier to store. [amile]

Don't think I'm going to tell you to use a large roasting tin that you would normally put the family sunday joint in! You'll have to work that out yourself.

well thats what we call a roasting tin in this house - one that we do roasting in. We are odd like that.

I just use the biggest roasting pan I have. It's a huge cake and feeds loads.

I'm not very good at sizes. I just bung it all in and let it do the rest.

Mars I made the cake, turned out lovely but a bit sunk in the middle, I covered it with an unfeasbly large amount of lemon drzzle icing. It looked a lot better than most of the offerrings at the sale tbh

Why did yours sink? Did you open the oven in the middle of the cooking?
