I make fresh food every day for my son, sometimes it gets a bit to much, can anyone suggest some tin foods which are safe for an 8 month old baby to eat, thanks.

I may be a very bad mother, but I generally use tinned fruit for DD ( and used to for DS2 too!)I only used the ones in juice though, not the syrup ones. I think by 8 months I used to give DS2 tinned pears/peaches whatever with custard made with follow on milk for lunch, but he had a squashed version of our dinner for his. As a quick thing I sometimes used boil-in-the-bag fish in sauce with mash if we had something I couldn't adapt.

Incidently does anyone know if anywhere does tinned veggies WITHOUT added salt?

sainsbury's organic eg sweetcorn doesn't have anything added apart from water
