Tinned Tomatoes - can I freeze?

I'm having a boiling, liquidising and freezing day for DS2 who is 6month. I was thinking I could liquidise a tin of tomatoes but can I then freeze the resulting mush, like I do his veg? I can't see why not, I freeze spag bol sauce and the like, but I thought I would ask oh wise mumsnetters!

Don't see why not. It works when they are used in sauces.

I can't see why not either.

I love it when you agree with me! Ok, soon as the sweetcorn is frozen, the tinned toms are next!

Yes you can Lisa! I freeze the remainder of any tin I don't fully use and it always defrosts fine.
