I am finding I am buying loads of fresh fruit and vegetables in a week and a lot are going to waste.

I go monthly shopping on 27th of the month(payday) and allocate £200 for the 5 of us, I then spend £70-£80 a week going to asds for the fruit and veg, milk and other bits and bobs we may need.

I think if I plan a weekly menu we might actually save some some or i HOPE we will save some money.

I have started buying meat- mince, stew from costco which is helping also bought salmon, haddock there too again this is saving a few pennies.

Can anyone help me out in planning a menu for the week? there are 2 adults 3 kids- 1 @ 5 and 2.5yrs old twins. Hubby and I are also trying to shed a few pounds- well stone

Also looking for a ready made chart too- broken into days, meals.

Fingers crossed you can help me

TIA

Jambuttie

cut chicken breast up into strips

have 3 plates one with beaten egg, one with flour and one with breadcrumbs.

put chicken into flour then egg then breadcrumbs and cook in the oven at gas 5 for about 15 mins.
