as we couldn't get one last year,we left it too late & they all sold out. However dh & I decided that it was foolish to keep it for Christmas without doing a taste test first, just in case it is horrible. So we have started to eat it already.Well, the disappointment at Christmas if we hadn't sampled it first, and it wasn't nice, doesn't bear thinking about..

how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking.

Its just that i am making homemade yule logs for christmas as a way of making a little extra cash.

£2.79 queenofpuddings-from Morrisons.It is nice,but very basic,not even a marzipan holly leaf on it.
I envy you being able to make them-I could never get them to roll up without cracking.

gosh, mine are probablly too expensive, they have choc mousse and double cream inside.
Mine still cracks when I roll it up sometimes, but i just cover it with icingsugar

In years past we have bought the Sainsbury's "taste the difference" yule log - which is chocolate heaven I'll have to get the in-laws to bring a couple over this year!
