yes

Daisymoo · 27/11/2006 17:58

yes, I would eat it (and if you don't want it, I will )

DizzyBint · 27/11/2006 17:59

sell by means just that..the shop has to sell it by then. it doesn't mean you have to eat it by then. i'd eat it if it seemed ok.

MrsBadger · 27/11/2006 18:00

I'd still eat it and I'm a microbiologist

(NB if it was Sell By yesterday its Use By date (which is different but should be printed somewhere) is probably today or tomorrow)

DizzyBint · 27/11/2006 18:06

and best before is different too. that just means it might not taste as nice after that date.

bagpussmice · 27/11/2006 18:10

actually it says use by 26 Nov

eat it anyway - I don't take chances with raw meat or with eggs, but it's a pie.

go on!

bagpussmice · 28/11/2006 10:00

we did - YUM!
