Around 11 months I cut my DD's milk down to two bottles of formula a day, morning sleep and night. I know until one they need 20 ozs a day,so she had 3 ozs in cereal and ate cheese and yogurt. She is now 13 mths, I have continued giving her formula as she eats like a sparrow and is soooooooooooooo picky, sometimes she will have two spoons of food for dinner! So I did not want to change to normal cows milk yet until her eating habits improve. i was thinking of reducing her milk again in hope that it will bump up her appetite for food but i dont want to deprive her, does she still need to have two 8ozs of milk a day at this agem, when should i reduce it?

thank you!

My dd's 16 months, and has 2 bottles of 6 oz's of milk each day, and the extra coes from what she has in her cereal, and yoguts. She's been on this for the past few months. Does your dd drink the whole bottle? You could try reducing the milk by a couple of ozs, but if she seems to finish the bottle and is still hungry, then I dont think its a problem giving her the 8oz u give her now. But its best you listen to what other people think as well, because Im not really too sure. Sorry! HTH
