Veg Boxes - Good Value

I've joined a veg box scheme (veg for 2-3 people £5, medium fruit bag £3). Are these good value. I've never done one of these before and will get my first delivery tonight. How's the quality of the goods with these schemes.

Ours is exceptional value. A £6 veg box gives us 5lb potatoes, some carrots, a cauli, some broccoli, some onions, some leeks, parsnips or runner beans (depending on the season). All excellent quality and more than enough for the two of us an DS

It's not all organic but they say the stuff that isn't has had minimal pesticides used. Once they can source enough local organic suppliers then they'll do organic boxes as well. It's a farm near Stirling in central Scotland. It's not here yet and I have to go out to work in 20mins.
