Can I freeze pizza dough?

We're making pizzas tonight as it is DD1's birthday. Her birthday party is on Saturday and I will be making some small pizzas to include as party food.

Can I make extra dough tonight and freeze the dough until Friday night?

Please don't laugh at me if this is a dumb question and the answer is "No, stupid!"

yes, shouldn't be a problem at all. might be quicker on fri/sat if you cook (or par-cook) the bases before freezing, then you can just reheat with toppings on.

Yes you can but i'd roll them out before you freeze.

As a slight hi-jack, what's the longest anyone has left pizza dough in the fridge to use on another day? I got twitchy after 3 days, but are there any reasons it couldn't be left for longer?

I reckon about 3 months is fine roll it out coat it with a little olive oil on it and bag it/cling film it and freeze it.
