Ice Cream Dilemma

I've just had my Tescos delivery and the tup of Green and Black's chocolate ice cream has thawed to the consistency of a McDonald's thick shake. I've been refunded the cost but do I:

  1. freeze it
  2. eat it now
  3. put it in the fridge and use it to make milkshakes later today
  4. Bin it

I know (1) is really not a good idea but am tempted to keep it in the fridge and make milkshakes later.

Bin it lardy

Dont refreeze it as it can cause some sort of poisoning!!!!!

I would eat some and then to ease my guilt make SMALL milkshakes for the kids later!!!!

I'm not really planning on freezing it - tempting as it is, I do realise that's a recipe for vomiting children! It should be OK thawed and used in milkshakes shouldn't it?

And bog off, Coddy I'm less lardy than you so nyanyanya.

oNly joking.

youwould regret it if you ate it

GeorginaA · 07/05/2004 13:45

don't refreeze it - not coz of poisoning problems, but refrozen icecream goes all crystally and horrible.

SoupDragon · 07/05/2004 13:48

I didn't regret the 1/4 a tub of Ben & Jerry's choc chip cookie dough last night...

Eat it yourself, so not harming the kids, but mix it with crumbled biccie to disguise the refrozen texture. Dont waste it!!

SoupDragon · 07/05/2004 14:28

(5) Re freeze it and give it to someone's AH?
