quick question

i have left over potatoes and cabbage from dinner yesterday and am gonna make bubble and squeak for dinner as its ds1 swimming night and need something quick. Do i put egg in to help bind the mixture or do i just mix the potatoes and cabbage?? was just gonna have this with a fried egg and beans cos its only me that eats it.

I don't think you need the egg, but it would make it tasty.

just thought it would be quick. ds1 doesnt finish swimming til 6pm and i usually put their dinner in the oven before i go out so its ready for when we get back, but i like to come in and unwind b4 eating.
