Lunch ideas

We've got a few freinds and family coming tomorrow for Dds 3rd birthday and I need some ideas for lunch that don't cost loads. Also something that doesn't mean I'll be stuck in the kitchen whilst everyone is enjoying themselves.

How about a home-cooked gammon (very easy - boil for half an hour then roast in oven - DELISH), salad, couscous, pasta salad, pitta breads or warm french bread, easy stuff that they can help themselves and you don't have to do too much cooking in the morning.

a big pot of chilli
colslaw
grated cheese
serve with a selection of salad and french bread
