Erm not sure tbh. Make soup and leave out the spinach.

Make it into soup - add some smoked bacon pieces and lentils, some water or veg stock, tin of tomatoes, simmer until the lentils are cooked, whizz it et voila!

hmmm. sounds good but soup is such a messy proposition (ds's are 3, 2 and 10 months) and i dont have bread...

anything else?

Potato wedges with coleslaw and some stemed romesco. Easy and not too messy for little fingers.
