My dd won't the food i put in front of her all she says is NO WAY!, she drinks her milk okay and has a couple of spoon fulls of cereal, a few mouthfuls of toast at lunch time, but in the evenings she won't eat anything, except crisps which DH gives her, any ideas?

Tell Dh to stop giving her crisps! She won't eat good food if she gets full on junk.

We have similar problems with dd1 (aged 4). I find the best way to get her to eat is to try and somehow get her involved in the cooking process. Or, to put food down for me and dh and not her. She then sometimes asks for a taste. Another way that she will eat is if she has one of her friends over for something to eat (a friend who is a good eater). Kids always like to be the same as other kids.

The more I make a fuss of trying to make her eat, the less likely she eats.

Good luck!

"if you dont eat it you have nothing else" sternly

always worked for mine

then let her go to bed hungry, she'll soon learn

my ds2 7mths eats more than my ds1 2.4. Some days he has only eaten a bit of toast and a piece of brocolli. It's so hard not to give in and think oh go on have a biscuit aleast you have eaten something. I just try and make sure every thing i offer him is good for him. He eats more if he helps with the making of it. I also serve up one bowl of food for him then give him an empty bowl and put a tiny bit of food in and do lots of refills.
