Can anyone recommend a good cookbook. I am more or less muddling along on my own at the moment with a little advice from Malaysian and Australian friends and trips to the Asian supermarket but would love to find a really good cook book to inspire me! Does anyone know of anything good? (must have pictures - I like to compare what its supposed to look like to my finished article )

Vatch's Thai Cookbook is the one I have - fantastic.

Thanks Gingerbear. Are the recipes pretty reliable?

Sorry Oxocube, been busy til now.
Yep, but you need a good Asian supermarket to get the real ingredients - I had trouble getting galangal and fresh lime leaves here in deepest darkest South Yorks.

Thanks Gingerbear. Will add it to my Christmas list!
