my dd has just turned 1 and we went to see the health visitor for her yearly check. i told her that she still had 3 bottles a day and it was formula milk. she told me that there was no need ofr her to be having formula milk and that she should be having cows milk. she has never had cows milk as a dring, only on her breakfast. how do i go about introducing cows milk to her? should i offer her it as a daytime drink instead of her usual water,to get her used to the taste? she has 7 ounces for her bedtime bottle. should i just replace this with cows milk?

i just swapped and ds was fine with it.
but if your dd doesn't like it for any reason you can do it gradually by mixing it with formula

First day I mixed half cows milk/half formula and she didn't seem to notice so 2nd day I just gave her cows milk and it was fine.

i just replaced it..no mixing....DD had been having it in cooking and on cereal for 6 months so i presumed she liked it! no complaints from her at all when it became her only source of milk.!

keep offering water as her daytime drink and give it to her when she would normally have milk.....!
