do you have a piece of cod waiting to be breaded? I mean do you need to do it right now?

I only ask because the stuff that is breaded and frozen is done so close the fishing boat, often on it, that it is fresher that buying a fresh piece from the fishmonger and doing it yourself at home, Terribly messy too, all that egg wash and crumbs and you really need to fry it in quite a bit of oil

Having said that if you want to do it now I can find a recipe

Hi thanks for your speedy response. Have the cod sitting here waiting for something interesting to happen to it! Husband bought it and fancies it for tonight's dinner...so left to me to come up with something interesting !!

Hmmmmm...well on the top ten list of interesting things to do with cos, can you really hand on heart say that breaded cod would be a qualifier?

What else do you have in the house, surely we can work something out
