there are some loveley recipies on banana loaf on 27/10. i've tried one of them where it was written that it was a lovely one to make with kids and it was true, i made it with my 3 years old son and we all loved it.

Cake is tasty but I must have taken it out a bit early as a bit stodgy-ish.
Lovely warm though.

i have actually made one banana cake and one banana loaf this week

this was the best one

def more loaf than cake but much more bannanianer and moister

This is the one I make all the time and it is fab, fab, fab. From Nigella's How to be a domestic goddess book. The secret is in soaking the sultanas in bourbon/rum. It doesn't taste alcoholic, just very moist and yum

Sheraz · 10/11/2006 13:41

Are baking powder and baking osda the same thing?

I do the one from Nigella's How to be a Domestic Goddess. I never have bourbon or rum in, i use brandy or sherry.
