So what do you want to know?

If you are planning tasting menu I don't want to give too much away! It is great fun and fantastic food.

ah hello

so - we're taking my (foodie) mum and dad for her 60th

she's specifically requested fat duck but i am a little nervous about booking in for the tasting menu - sounds so, er, out there

is it delicious, weird, or both?

if you went again would you choose from the a la carte menu?

It is delicious and weird. It would be fantastic for a birthday as it is very theatrical - lots of tables were having it and there was a lot of giggling! Also if you have the tasting menu you can have the wines with each course which are really good. The amuse bouche things are good sizes too (mainly) so it ends up being 14 courses really.

You can choose when you get there if you want the tasting menu

The snail porridge for eg was pretty innocuous. The sardines and toast sorbet was very very odd but utterly delicious

The a la carte looked great too.
