Can't believe I'd posting this thread, but whilst whipping up a batch of fairy cakes it occured to me that the bero cook book is indispensible to me and well worth the £1.99 it cost.

I always score a cross in the base of the tomato and sit it in boiling water for a few minutes then the skin peels off really easily.

Ahhhh.

Have just spent 1 hour and 6 mins reading hamster thread - it all makes sense now.

Still think the bero is best, although dishwasher does come a close second!

Electric can opener. Got it as an engagement present 9 years ago ans still going strong.
