~I just give ds[3.1] and dd[10mths] toast for their dinner???? It is all ds is asking for and they are both eating it now but feel like I should be giving them more. They have had one piece each. uppose could do some bananas and grapes for after...is that enough???

Admitedly Becky had spag bol for lunch and jess had hot dogs but still......

well you could always prepare an elaborate karmelesque 3 course meal and then cry as they refuse to eat it and then make them toast (thats how it normally goes in this house). they will be fine!

Don't see anything wrong with it once in a while. Ds' sometimes have just rolls with butter for lunch. Could you put soft cheese on it to make it more "balanced".

Nemo1977 · 08/11/2006 17:37

saadia I would have put some soft cheese on but they had cheese, pncakes, sausage and ham for lunch.

ah well in that case toast is probably absolutely fine as they've had enough protein and calcium.

thanks all..just gave them bowl of fruit each aswell so should be ok...lol

Now question is what do I have when they have gone to bed
