What do you eat with Shephards Pie??

I never buy iot because I hate it but dp said we have to have it at least once so we bought a frozen one thinking it was a huge family one but just taken it out and it's tiny Soooo - what goes with it? I've got peas, green beans and that's about it!!!

you can always have baked beans with it too, they go well.

peas and beans are fine.

i sometimes do green beans with it. there are usually peas already in it.
I'm n the same situation as you, have to make it for dp, tho I don't really liek it.

we eat it on it's own with pickled red cabbage.

Well we are having peas with ours tonight, mainly to bump up veg intake though.

Very odd. But oddly nice.

any veg is fine. Why do you hate it ? All it is is mince, veggies and potato.

Carrots and broccoli. Mind you we have carrots and broccoli with everything, including jacket potatoes and omlettes.

It wasn't atually as bad as I thought.... I didn't used to like it because I used to hate carrots and my Nan used to make me eat mince an' tatties at least twice a week so I ended up hating all things mince/gravy!

The kids scoffed the veg and didn't like the pie!!
