Can you freeze fresh spinach?

If not what do i do to it - and can I put in soups and then freeze them too?

I freeze lots of curries with spinach in-works fine.Never frozen fresh but it would surely work.
Perhaps best thing is to cook it down then freeze?

Er,why do you want to do so?
Have you a spinach glut??

Yes, have a glut. Or rather always end up throwing half the bag out. Will cook then freeze in little balls to drop in stuff
