I have a semi frozen chicken...

And was planning to roast it today - but I forgot about it, and took it out of the freezer this morning and its semi unfrozen. Can I microwave defrost or something? Im not in tomorrow to have it, after that it'll have to be chucked Can I do anything with it? Thanks

Can defrost in microwave on defrost setting. Not sure how long it would need though/

You can always put it in cold water, that should help. Make sure there are no ice crystals in the cavity by running it under the tap.
