Introducing chicken / dairy / wheat

Hi

My son Benjamin is 6 months old and I am just thinking about introducing new foods into his diet other than veggies/fruit/baby cereal.

Has anyone got any tips on the easiest and safest way to introduce new foods?
I was thinking of starting with chicken by cooking then pureeing it and freezing it in cubes then introducing one cube in with his veggies.

Not sure what to start with in dairy or wheat though.
Any ideas gratefully recevied.

thanks

Sue

Dairy you could just offer his fruit with a blob of plain unsweetened yoghurt stirred in and then graduate to little pots. Also a cheese sauce later on with mashed potato or pasta and perhaps fish. Wheat - weetabix with usual milk for breakfast, mini pasta shapes like for soup in a veg puree "sauce" ? Chicken seemed to work best stewed or poached and then pureed with a little of the liquid and some veg. It needs to be quite moist. Also I didn't find that it froze very well on its own but was fine as a sort of mini stew.

When I introduced something new it was one at a time and with other known-tolerated foods.
