I hunted on line this morning and could not find a recipe! We have done chocolate coated ones dipped in hundreds and thousands instead!

I think it involves melting sugar till it caramelises then dipping an apple in i'm not sure about the mechanics of it though.

If you're doing it together then Chocolate ones are safer anyway as sugar gets really hot.
