I never have any problems with Tesco deliveries. They do use rather a lot of bags though!

It really depends on the store they get their supply from. At my previous town, tesco was great but where live now, they're terrible. I get some bizarre replacements. I now always use Ocado and think they are brilliant. Very friendly drivers, one hour slots, and I often get a little freebie included

isnt ocado rather expensive?

I don't think they are too expensive. You may pay a few pounds more than Tesco or Sainsbury but then I always order over £75 so delivery is free (as I don't live in Central London). I'm happy to pay slightly more knowing that the fresh stuff will not expire the following day I get the things I ordered.

I got a delivery from Asda today. Saved £10 on a £35 quid shop. Driver was bang on time. Only thing was, they used 20 carrier bags for 55 things. Some things were in a bag of their own. I think they need to give a lesson in bag packing.

There's no Ocado here, which simplifies things somewhat!

Asda are cheaper but you do get some dodgy substitutes from time to time, Tesco tend to just turn up without hal;f the stuff.

I find if we alternate, then the other one sends us a free shop voucher and so we rarely pay delivery LOL!
